Till Screen Facilities
Using the built in till screen enables you to record sales and process returns quickly and easily.
On the till screen the items and quantities can be entered and an optional stock level check can be used to ensure items being sold are in stock. The system also checks item codes entered against the item code and barcode fields in the database. If there is an item that has an code the same as another items barcode for any reason then a popup screen will be displayed allowing you to select the correct item.
The till screen uses the Item Variants feature and if required will display a pop-up screen showing the item variations available so the required one can be selected.
The default price will have been entered already as part of the item details but can be changed if required. A contact/customer can also be selected prior to selecting items in order to take avantage of the Special Pricing feature within the system.
In addition to the Search facility on the till screen you can also double click on the item box and a complete list of available items will be shown. The required item can then be selected from this list. Using either of these item selection methods makes selling easy via the till screen.
If your items are barcoded then the system will be able to accept the item code being entered by use of a barcode reader.
There are two built in methods of printing receipts:- You can print a receipt using the 'Print Receipt' button on the till screen and this will produce a receipt that can be printed on a normal printer. This method also takes advantage of the 'Report Header Designer' which is installed with the system.
- Using a till receipt printer. The design of these receipts can be altered by using the same 'Report Layout Designer' as the barcode label feature within the system.

The screen shot below shows the sale completion screen which allows entry of the amount tendered and selection of the method of payment, sale type and contact if required.
