Version 7.16 Released
Version 7.16 of The Shop System has been released and contains the following changes.
New features:
- Added new feature to allow users to use receipt printers.
- Added option to allow users of till receipt printers to reprint receipts.
- Goods in screen now defaults to todays date and default purchase price.
- New 'Save and New' option added to the 'Item Details' screen. This allows you to save the current item and create a new one using the same details.
- New "Variants" tab added to the item products screen. This makes setting up and maintaining item variants like size, colour, weight etc easier.
- Changed system to allow returns to be processed through till screen.
- Added "Tax Rate ID", "Tax Rate", "Default Retail Price" and "Default Selling Price" to "Transaction Export".
- Transaction export changed to output "Sales Type" as "SALES ORDER" or "PURCHASE ORDER" when the transation is linked to a sales or purchase order.
- From and to dates added to the transaction export screen, with override.
- New "Suppress Receipts" option added to "Sale Types" to allow receipts to be suppressed during sale confirmation process.
- New selection screen added to deal with situations where an item code matches a bar code.
- Supplier maintenance change so that when adding a new supplier a numeric code is generated for the new supplier.
- New "Stock" level column added to the till screen to show the item stock level. This can be hidden/displayed via an option on the setup screen.
- Added "Transaction" date picker to "Sale Confirm" screen and a new option to the program settings screen to control if it is visible or not.
- New sales report by selectable date range.
Minor fixes and adjustments:
- Methods of payment and sale types separated from setup screen. Allows for more options.
- Amount Tendered added to sales detail table in order to make it available for receipt printers.
- Sales report price column changed to show price x qty sold.
- ID column made visible on the 'Sale Types' and 'Methods of Payment' screens to aid users of the new transaction import utility being developed.
